This ravishing, scarlet-hued brew, pleasantly tart and high in vitamin C, is equally delicious hot or over ice. Allegedly, Cleopatra adored hibiscus tea, believing it to enhance her legendary beauty. Viable or not, it tastes divine as a base for blending or as a treat all its own.

Origin: Egypt

    • brewing

      • 1 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water 
      • 185ºF/85ºC  (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 1 minute, and proceed.) 
      • Brew 5-7 minutes 
      • Good for 2 infusions
