Hibari is a superlative matcha created of shincha (first flush) tencha. This usucha-style matcha (thin tea) is smooth and medium bodied, with a wonderfully grounding and steady energetic presence. Fresh, delicate notes of early spring grass spill forth from this blend of Samidori, Yabukita and Ujihikari cultivars.
Kusamakura is a deeply masterful matcha, seemingly touched by divine grace. An exquisite blend of hand-picked shincha (first-flush) Asahi, Ujihikari, Saemidori and Samidori cultivars illustrate a complexity reminiscent of a symphony, rich and luxurious with beautiful, expressive movements.
