With a legacy spanning 400 years, Suzuki Morihisa Studio stands as a revered name in the world of Nanbu ironware. At its helm today is Shiiko Suzuki, the 15th-generation master and the first woman to hold the title of kettle master in the history of this storied craft. Shiiko's designs, celebrated for their graceful forms and striking geometric patterns, reflect a distinctively feminine perspective, earning her widespread acclaim and numerous accolades.

Continuing this remarkable lineage, Shiiko's son, Shigeo Suzuki, is actively involved in the workshop and poised to become the 16th-generation head. The studio's collection, however, prominently features works from the 13th and 15th generations, showcasing a dedication to honoring tradition while embracing innovation.

What truly sets Suzuki Morihisa Studio apart is its commitment to preserving the artistry of past generations while allowing each master to imbue the craft with their own vision. Though the styles may evolve, the hallmark rust-hued finish and exceptional quality remain constant, offering a timeless connection to the heritage of Nanbu ironware.
